Privacy Policy

Move Evidence is a local-first rental-condition documentation app published by Mentalist Apps.
Data stored on your device
Inspection names, optional addresses, inspection types, room condition selections, notes, photo files, and dates are stored locally on your device. No account or developer-managed backend is required.
Camera and photo library
Camera access is used only when you choose to take an inspection photo. Photo library access is used only when you choose an existing photo. The app does not upload these photos to a developer-managed service.
Sharing
When you export or share a PDF, iOS passes the report to the destination you select. The developer does not receive the report through the app.
Advertising and privacy choices
Move Evidence displays banner advertising using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The Google User Messaging Platform manages consent and privacy choices where required. Depending on your choices, region, device settings, and applicable law, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address or approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and advertising performance information to provide, measure, and protect advertising.
Google handles this information under its own policies and terms. Review Google’s Privacy Policy. You can revisit available ad privacy choices from Move Evidence Settings when that option is available.
What the developer does not operate
Mentalist Apps does not require an account, does not operate a server for inspection data, and does not send your inspection names, addresses, notes, condition selections, photos, or exported reports to a developer-managed service. The current release does not include developer-managed analytics or crash reporting.
Deletion
Delete inspections in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. Reports shared to another destination are governed by that destination’s retention policy. Data processed by Google for advertising is subject to Google’s retention and deletion practices.
