Metal Calculator - Weight&Cost is an offline-first calculator for estimating the weight, length, quantity, and cost of common metal stock. This policy describes the current release published by Mentalist Apps.
Information stored on your device
Calculator inputs, saved calculations, preferences, and custom material densities are stored locally on your device so the core features work without an account or a developer-managed backend. You can delete saved calculations in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device.
Advertising and privacy choices
Metal Calculator - Weight&Cost displays banner advertising using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The Google User Messaging Platform manages consent and privacy choices where required. Depending on your choices, region, device settings, and applicable law, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address or approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and advertising performance information to provide, measure, and protect advertising.

What the developer does not operate
Mentalist Apps does not require an account, does not operate a server for calculator data, and does not send your calculator inputs, saved calculations, preferences, or custom material densities to a developer-managed service. The current release does not include developer-managed analytics or crash reporting.
Data deletion and retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or delete the app. Data processed by Google for advertising is subject to Google’s retention and deletion practices.
Children’s privacy
Metal Calculator - Weight&Cost is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s functionality or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
